YachtEye's New Leadership

YachtEye is entering a new chapter as an independent company following a management buyout led by Daniel van Dongen. The focus remains on making life onboard simpler and more intuitive, with the Apple TV app launch marking the next key step.

After six years as part of SuperYacht Times, YachtEye is entering a new chapter.

As of 1 April, YachtEye continues independently following a management buyout led by Daniel van Dongen, who has been closely involved in the company’s growth and product development in recent years.

This next step is not about changing direction, but about accelerating what already works.

With firsthand onboard experience as crew and close collaboration with captains, crew and owners, the focus remains clear: to build technology that genuinely makes life easier onboard, without adding complexity.

Looking ahead, one of the key upcoming milestones is the launch of YachtEye’s dedicated Apple TV app, scheduled for the start of the Mediterranean season.

YachtEye remains focused on one simple ambition: to make life onboard smoother, more intuitive and more enjoyable, for both guests and crew.
